According to sources within the Kurdistan Region, 400,000 duplicate identities that were getting double pay were removed by the Federal Court’s order to settle the region’s employee salaries today, Tuesday.
According to the reports, some individuals were appointed to positions inside the Peshmerga while simultaneously receiving contracts and pay from other departments in the area.
She went on to say, “Some of these names receive three and four salaries at the same time.”
The Kurdistan region’s salaries were ordered to be deposited in government banks and institutions by the Federal Court, binding both the central and regional administrations.
