The exchange rate of the U.S. dollar increased against the Iraqi dinar on Monday in both Baghdad and Erbil markets.
In Baghdad’s Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, the dollar reached 152,500 dinars per $100, compared with 152,100 dinars on Sunday.
At local exchange offices in Baghdad, the selling price rose to 153,000 dinars per $100, while the buying price stood at 152,000 dinars.
In Erbil, the dollar also moved higher, with the selling price reaching 152,500 dinars per $100 and the buying price recorded at 152,400 dinars.
The increase reflects continued movement in Iraq’s currency markets as traders monitor supply, demand, and broader economic conditions.
