The US dollar recorded a noticeable drop against the Iraqi dinar on Sunday morning in major exchanges and local markets in both Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region.
In Baghdad, exchange rates at the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges fell to 153,250 Iraqi dinars for every 100 US dollars, compared to 153,600 dinars recorded yesterday.
At local currency exchange shops in Baghdad, the selling price dropped to 153,750 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price declined to 152,750 dinars.
In Erbil, the market also saw lower exchange rates following the decline in Baghdad. The selling price reached 153,050 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price stood at 152,900 dinars.
