The US dollar remained largely stable against the Iraqi dinar in Baghdad on Thursday morning, while exchange rates in Erbil saw a slight decline at the start of trading.
In Baghdad, the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya central exchanges recorded 156,850 dinars for every 100 US dollars, unchanged from Wednesday’s closing rate.
Exchange shops and local markets across the capital also showed little movement. The selling price stood at 157,250 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price remained at 156,250 dinars.
In Erbil, the dollar edged lower compared to previous levels. The selling price reached 156,650 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price was recorded at 156,550 dinars per 100 dollars.
The latest figures indicate a generally stable currency market, with only minor fluctuations in exchange rates between Baghdad and Erbil as traders continue to monitor market conditions.
