South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Upbit and Bithumb, have announced that they will end trading support for Storj (STORJ), JasmyCoin (JASMY), and ThunderCore (TT) on September 14 after determining that concerns raised during earlier reviews were not adequately resolved.

Upbit said trading for all affected markets will stop at 3:00 p.m. KST on September 14. Any open buy or sell orders that remain on the platform at that time will be automatically canceled.

Although trading will end in September, users will still be able to withdraw their tokens until October 14, giving holders an additional month to transfer their assets to external wallets or other exchanges.

The decision follows warning designations issued by Upbit in late July. The exchange said its reviews focused on factors such as project disclosures, business sustainability, operational progress, and other issues that could affect investors.

Storj was placed under review shortly after Storj Labs filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the United States. While the company stated that its decentralized storage network continues to operate normally, the exchange concluded that concerns surrounding the project remained unresolved.

JasmyCoin was also reviewed over issues related to disclosures and project sustainability. According to Upbit, questions remained regarding information that could have a significant impact on investors and the project’s overall development.

ThunderCore faced scrutiny over its operations, token issuance, and circulation mechanisms. The project has publicly disagreed with the exchanges’ assessment, stating that its network, token issuance system, and overall operations continue to function normally.

Bithumb separately confirmed that it will remove all three tokens on the same schedule as Upbit, indicating that the decision was reached independently by both exchanges.

The delistings highlight the stricter review standards being applied by major South Korean crypto exchanges as regulators and trading platforms increase oversight of listed digital assets.

While STORJ, JASMY, and TT will no longer be available for trading on Upbit and Bithumb after September 14, the tokens themselves will continue to operate on their respective blockchain networks. However, losing support from two of South Korea’s largest exchanges could significantly reduce liquidity and trading activity for the affected assets.
