Pi Network is trading around $0.167, and something subtle—but important—is happening.
After a long downtrend from nearly $3 to around $0.13, the selling pressure is finally starting to slow down.
You can see this in the MACD indicator. For the first time since the bottom in February, the histogram has flattened to zero. That doesn’t mean the trend has reversed yet—but it does mean the downward momentum has stopped getting worse.
Think of it like this: the fall hasn’t ended, but it’s no longer accelerating.
Price is also holding above its lowest level at $0.135, which is acting as a strong support. Buyers are stepping in there, and that’s helping stabilize things.
But there’s still a problem.
All the major moving averages are sitting above the current price. That means the overall trend is still bearish, and every move up will face resistance.
So what needs to happen next?
The first real sign of recovery would be a move above $0.171. If Pi can close above that level, it opens the door to $0.20, which has been a tough barrier this year.
If momentum keeps building, the bigger target sits much higher around $0.28—but that’s only possible if the earlier levels break first.
On the downside, the key level is still $0.135.
If price drops below that, the whole setup breaks, and there’s no clear support below it.
There are also some mixed signals in the background.
A large number of tokens—around 230 million—are set to unlock soon. That adds selling pressure, which could slow down any recovery.
At the same time, at least one large holder has been accumulating heavily near current levels, which suggests some confidence at the bottom.
There’s also development progress. The network just rolled out a new upgrade and is moving toward adding smart contract features, which could help long-term growth.
So overall, Pi Network is at an early turning point.
The downtrend is losing strength—but it hasn’t flipped bullish yet. The next move depends on whether buyers can push it above resistance… or if supply pushes it back down again.
