Iraqi e-commerce startup Mabiati has secured a six-figure investment that will help the company expand its operations, improve its technology, and support its next phase of growth.

Founded by Muhammad Al-Sultan, Mabiati was created to help people across Iraq start and run online businesses without needing large amounts of capital. The platform brings together suppliers, sellers, delivery companies, and customers in one system, making it easier to market products, process orders, manage deliveries, and track shipments.

Mabiati also offers additional services such as product photography and content creation, helping sellers present their products more professionally online.

Since launching, the company has served more than 20,000 customers across Iraq and has achieved an average growth rate of around 40%, reflecting the increasing demand for e-commerce services in the country.

The new investment has already been used to strengthen the business by paying off existing obligations, hiring more staff, upgrading servers, launching a new version of the platform, introducing automation tools, and building an in-house production studio. The company has also expanded its marketing efforts through partnerships with advertising agencies and content creators.

Mabiati has gained recognition within Iraq’s startup ecosystem. It previously participated in the Orange Corners Baghdad program and is currently ranked among the top four startups in the Orange Corners Innovation Fund Iraq initiative.

Hady El Samra of Iraq Venture Partners said the company has shown strong resilience and a clear understanding of how to grow its business in a sustainable way.

Founder Muhammad Al-Sultan said the investment has not only helped the company grow but has also provided stability during a difficult economic period, allowing Mabiati to continue expanding and serving more customers across Iraq.

The investment marks another positive step for Iraq’s growing startup and digital business sector, as more entrepreneurs turn to technology-driven solutions to meet the needs of the local market.
