The US dollar continued to rise against the Iraqi dinar on Monday, with exchange rates increasing in both Baghdad and Erbil.
In Baghdad, the dollar reached 156,700 dinars for every 100 US dollars at the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges. This was up from 155,900 dinars recorded the previous day.
At local exchange offices, the selling price climbed to 157,250 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price reached 156,250 dinars.
In Erbil, the dollar was selling at 156,600 dinars per 100 dollars and buying at 156,500 dinars.
The latest figures reflect the ongoing fluctuations in Iraq’s currency markets, as the dollar continues to move higher against the dinar.
