Binance will permanently shut down Binance Pool and its related cryptocurrency mining services on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. The decision will end support for mining connections, reward generation and several products linked to the platform.
Binance announced the closure on October 13, saying it was part of an ongoing review of its products and services. The shutdown will affect Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, mining APIs and automated hashrate notifications.
Miners using Binance Pool must move their equipment to another mining pool before the deadline to avoid interruptions. Once the shutdown takes effect, Binance will disconnect mining equipment and disable the Stratum addresses and endpoints used to submit computing power.
Any mining shares or hashrate submitted after 07:00 UTC on November 10 will no longer be accepted or credited toward rewards. Eligible mining activity completed before the deadline will remain subject to Binance’s existing reward rules.
The closure will also affect Pool Savings accounts, Cloud Mining products and Transaction Accelerator services. Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications and mining API access will stop working under the announced schedule.
Binance has not named a replacement mining provider or explained why it is closing the business beyond its regular review of products and services. The announcement does not indicate that the company is shutting down its main cryptocurrency exchange.
Customers with active Pool Savings positions should review their accounts and complete any necessary redemptions or cancellations before the shutdown. Users with unpaid mining rewards, refunds or other outstanding balances should also make sure their accounts can receive eligible payments.
Binance said eligible unpaid rewards and refunds would continue to be processed after the closure, subject to the relevant product terms, account status, compliance checks and applicable laws. However, the company has not guaranteed that every outstanding balance will be paid immediately.
Users who need to complete identity verification or other account requirements have been instructed to do so by 23:59 UTC on November 10. Binance said completing these steps would help facilitate the processing of eligible payments.
The exchange has also advised customers to save their mining records, transaction reports and account history before the relevant pages become unavailable.
Binance will remove links to Binance Pool from its homepage on November 10, but historical pages will remain accessible temporarily. Users will have until November 24 at 07:00 UTC to review available mining records, account information and payout details. After that, Binance plans to close the pages permanently.
Binance launched its mining pool in April 2020, initially offering Bitcoin mining services to customers contributing computing power to the network. Over time, the company added more mining-related products and connected the service with other financial tools available through its platform.
In October 2022, Binance Pool introduced a $500 million lending initiative aimed at Bitcoin miners and digital asset infrastructure companies. The program was designed to provide financing to eligible mining businesses. The latest shutdown announcement does not clarify how the closure will affect loans issued through that initiative.
Binance continued expanding its mining services in later years. In August 2023, it introduced Bitcoin Ordinals inscription services, allowing eligible customers to attach information to individual satoshis. In November 2024, it added support for Fractal Bitcoin merged mining, allowing compatible miners to earn additional rewards through participating mining activity.
The company also made changes to its mining-related stablecoin support in September 2026, when it announced a separate schedule for ending support for USDP.
The shutdown comes as major Bitcoin mining operators continue working on improvements to mining technology. In May 2026, Foundry, AntPool, F2Pool, SpiderPool, MARA Pool, Block Inc. and DMND joined a Stratum V2 working group. At the time, the participating operators represented approximately 75% of Bitcoin’s network hashrate.
Stratum V2 aims to improve communication between mining pools and miners while giving miners more control over certain decisions involved in building Bitcoin blocks. However, Binance has not linked its decision to close the pool to this initiative, changing network conditions or competition.
For now, miners using Binance Pool need to arrange alternative mining connections before November 10. Customers with remaining balances should review their accounts and save any records they may need before the historical pages close on November 24.
