Iraq has invited international companies specializing in airport management and operations to invest in and develop Mosul International Airport.
Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi made the announcement during a visit to Mosul on Monday, describing the airport as an important gateway for Nineveh province and the country as a whole.
Al-Zaidi said the government wants investors who can do more than build a passenger terminal. The goal is to turn Mosul International Airport into a major services hub that supports economic activity and development in the region. Investment
During the visit, the prime minister also reviewed other development and public service projects in Nineveh, including the start of implementation work on a project to provide one million residential plots.
