MetaMask Adds Polymarket Integration, Turning Its Mobile Wallet Into a Full Prediction Trading Hub
MetaMask is expanding beyond simple wallet functions and moving deeper into on-chain trading. The company has launched MetaMask Prediction Markets, a new feature that lets users trade real-world event outcomes directly inside the mobile app through an exclusive integration with Polymarket.
Prediction Markets Go Native in MetaMask
Unveiled on Dec. 4, the update introduces a dedicated predictions tab that allows users to enter markets without leaving the MetaMask interface. The experience is designed to match the speed and convenience of mainstream betting platforms, while keeping everything self-custodied.
Key features include:
- Fund trades with any EVM token in one tap
- Instant settlement in under 5 seconds
- Automatic sync with existing Polymarket balances
- Earn MetaMask Rewards for every trade
This marks one of MetaMask’s biggest steps toward becoming a multi-function trading hub, following recent additions like swaps, perpetual futures, referrals, and cross-chain transfers.
A Frictionless Entry Into On-Chain Forecasts
The integration is built for mobile users who want fast access to live event markets. Because trades settle almost instantly, users can react to sports plays, political debates, or breaking news in real time.
A flat 4% fee applies to each prediction trade—higher than Polymarket’s usual fee-free model—but MetaMask argues the consistency makes it more familiar to everyday betting app users. Fees are split between MetaMask and Polymarket.
Polymarket Becomes a Native, Self-Custodied Experience
MetaMask is now the first major self-custodial wallet to embed prediction markets directly into the app, giving Polymarket access to MetaMask’s massive user base, which spans more than 140 million wallets.
Users can:
- Browse or trade live markets
- Watch odds shift in real time
- Buy or sell outcomes
- Claim payouts directly to their MetaMask wallet
All keys and permissions stay fully self-custodied, aligning with MetaMask’s broader security model.

This integration follows a series of upgrades that signal MetaMask’s transition into a broader trading ecosystem. Over the past two months, MetaMask has:

Meanwhile, Polymarket has been gaining mainstream visibility, with its odds recently appearing on Google Search and Google Finance, helping push decentralized forecasting toward a wider audience.
