The Ministry of Finance announced on Sunday that it has released the funds for February salaries for state employees and members of the security forces.
The ministry said all technical and administrative procedures have been completed to make sure the money reaches bank accounts without problems.
According to the statement, the Accounting Department has started sending financial allocations to all ministries, government institutions, and non-ministerial spending units. This also includes salaries for all branches of the security forces. The funds will be distributed through approved government and private banks.
The ministry explained that the disbursement process was carried out after meeting all required steps to ensure smooth transfers to every governorate. It added that departments and institutions will begin paying salaries gradually in the coming hours.
Finally, the ministry called on all spending units to visit their banks to collect checks or activate electronic deposits, so employees can receive their salaries on time and without delay.
