Dana Gas has restarted production at the Khor Mor gas field in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region after a temporary slowdown بسبب التوترات في المنطقة.
The UAE-based company said it took extra safety steps before bringing operations back, working closely with local authorities to make sure everything runs smoothly.
They made it clear that the safety of workers and facilities comes first. At the same time, they aim to keep production steady to support energy supplies in the region.
The pause in operations came after rising tensions between the US, Iran, and Israel, which led to repeated attacks. The Kurdistan Region has faced around 650 missile and drone strikes since late February, causing casualties and forcing energy companies to cut back activity.
Now, with production resuming at Khor Mor, it’s a sign that things are stabilizing—at least enough for key energy operations to start moving again.
