The US dollar dropped slightly against the Iraqi dinar on Tuesday in both Baghdad and Erbil.
In Baghdad, rates went down at the main currency exchanges like Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya. The price reached 153,700 dinars for 100 US dollars, compared to 154,150 dinars the day before.
In local markets across the city, selling prices stayed steady at 154,250 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price was 153,250 dinars.
Erbil saw a similar trend. The selling price there was around 154,000 dinars per 100 dollars, and the buying price stood at 153,900 dinars.
Overall, it was a small drop—but enough to show a bit of easing in the dollar’s value in local markets.
