Independent Member of Parliament Mustafa Jabbar Sanad made a sardonic statement today, Thursday, about the Ministry of Finance’s allocation of funds for the Kurdistan region’s salary for the month of March.
“I congratulate the Kurdistan Regional Government on the success of their campaign against the Prime Minister and the ruling political forces, which resulted in approval to release 920 billion dinars per month without localization and without the condition of handing over oil and non-oil revenues,” Sanad wrote in a post on his official page that was viewed by “Information.”
“I applaud them because they understood that prime ministers are weak and that they wanted to renew the second terms,” he continued. Similar to how their plot in the US Congress worked, they managed to visit the Prime Minister and threaten to disrupt his visit if he did not spend the money without limitation or condition.”
The financing for the wages of the Kurdistan Region for the month of March of last year was published today by the Ministry of Finance.
According to a ministry statement, Taif Sami, the Minister of Finance, approved this action, which was directed by the Prime Minister and included in the financial allocations for the month of March 2024.
