On Monday, the US State Department acknowledged that Washington notified the Iraqis following the recent attack in the nation’s west. This runs counter to its assertion that it notified the Iraqi government before to the attack on the PMO offices in western Iraq.
“We did not notify Iraq of the American attacks, but we did so after the strikes we carried out,” the US State Department stated in a recent statement. “The Iraqi government was notified as soon as the attacks were carried out on locations within its territory,” she continued.
Notably, at daybreak on Saturday, the United States launched devious and despicable airstrikes on Iraq and Syria, causing a great deal of harm to both public and private property as well as civilian and military deaths.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Iraq issued a statement in which he claimed that the US strikes in the border territories and cities of Al-Qaim were an infringement on Iraqi sovereignty.
