Global oil prices moved higher on Monday as markets remained uncertain about the reopening of the important Strait of Hormuz.
Brent crude futures increased by 91 cents, or 1.09%, reaching $84.46 per barrel.
Meanwhile, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also gained 61 cents, or 0.78%, trading at $78.79 per barrel.
The rise came as traders continued to watch developments around the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil shipments. Ongoing uncertainty over supply flows has added pressure to prices in international markets.
