The US dollar exchange rate remained stable in Baghdad on Saturday morning, while it recorded a slight increase in Erbil at the start of the week’s trading.
In Baghdad, the dollar traded at 156,800 Iraqi dinars per $100 in both the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges, unchanged from Thursday’s rate.
Currency exchange shops in Baghdad also maintained stable prices. The selling rate stood at 157,250 dinars per $100, while the buying rate was 156,250 dinars per $100.
In Erbil, the dollar rose slightly. Exchange shops recorded a selling price of 156,850 dinars per $100 and a buying price of 156,800 dinars per $100.
The latest figures indicate that the exchange rate remains largely stable across Iraq, with only minor fluctuations seen in the Kurdistan Region’s capital.
