Gold prices were largely stable in global spot trading on Tuesday, remaining close to their lowest level in more than seven weeks.
Spot gold was trading at $4,124.57 per ounce, while gold futures slipped 0.3% to $4,156.70 per ounce.
Other precious metals also recorded losses during the session. Spot silver fell 0.6% to $60.62 per ounce, platinum dropped 1% to $1,699.86 per ounce, and palladium declined 0.5% to $1,209.08 per ounce.
The movements reflect continued pressure on precious metals markets, with investors closely watching global economic developments, interest rate expectations, and shifts in demand for safe-haven assets.
Despite gold holding near current levels, it remains close to its lowest point in more than seven weeks, while silver, platinum, and palladium all posted modest declines.
