Gold prices moved higher in global markets on Thursday, with spot gold rising 0.5% to $4,409.97 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures gained 0.9% to reach $4,455.30 per ounce. Recent gains in the precious metals market have been supported by a weaker U.S. dollar and lower bond yields as investors monitor upcoming economic data and interest rate expectations

Other precious metals also recorded gains during trading. Silver advanced 0.6% to $65.74 per ounce, platinum climbed 0.6% to $1,770.88 per ounce, while palladium remained largely unchanged at $1,354 per ounce.

Market participants continue to watch global financial developments, currency movements, and central bank policy expectations, all of which remain key drivers of precious metal prices.
