A ship tracking site says a major Iranian oil tanker has made it to the Far East despite efforts to block it.
According to TankerTrackers.com, the tanker “Huige” managed to pass through key shipping routes and reach its destination while carrying about 1.9 million barrels of crude oil.
The cargo is estimated to be worth around $220 million.
The ship was last seen about a week ago near Sri Lanka, then later showed up again in the Lombok Strait in Indonesia.
In short, the tanker appears to have avoided the blockade and completed its journey.
