Ministry of Oil announced Iraq’s final oil export figures for April 2026, showing a sharp drop in revenues compared to pre-war levels, when monthly oil income usually ranged between $6 billion and $7 billion.
According to the ministry, Iraq exported a total of 9,884,130 barrels of crude oil and condensates during April.
Exports from Basra reached 4,587,610 barrels, while exports from the Kurdistan Region through the Turkish port of Ceyhan totaled 339,064 barrels. Kirkuk oil exports through Ceyhan reached 4,957,456 barrels.
The country’s average daily crude oil exports stood at around 329,000 barrels per day.
The ministry said total oil export revenues for the month reached just over $1.09 billion, with the average price per barrel estimated at about $109.98.
