KBR Awarded FEED Contract for Fertiliser Plant in Basra

US-based totally KBR has been provided a the front-end engineering design (FEED) agreement through KAR electrical strength manufacturing buying and selling FZE (KEPPT) for the improvement of a main fertilizer facility in Basra, Iraq.

The challenge includes a 2,300 metric tonnes per day (MTPD) ammonia production unit and a 3,850 MTPD urea production unit. The FEED will comprise KBR’s proprietary ammonia era, that is designed for high performance, low emissions, and reliable operations, aiming to lessen capital expenditure and optimize the challenge schedule.
