Economic expert Faleh al-Zubaidi said continued U.S. pressure policies toward Iran are also creating economic strain for Washington, especially through rising costs tied to military operations and energy markets.

He argued that prolonged tensions can push up global oil prices, which can feed into higher fuel costs and broader inflation pressures.

Al-Zubaidi also said Iran has developed alternative trade routes to reduce the impact of restrictions, while suggesting long-term pressure campaigns carry growing costs for all sides involved.

His comments come as energy markets remain sensitive to regional tensions and concerns over inflation and supply costs. Dam
