RLUSD on Coinbase means Ripple’s stablecoin is now on the largest US crypto exchange. That expands access for retail and institutional players. RLUSD runs on the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The XRPL is an ISO-20022-compliant blockchain. The GENIUS Act framework governs stablecoins in the US. RLUSD has OCC approval for its national trust bank charter.
Why does this matter for IQD specifically?
The dinar revaluation isn’t just a number changing on a screen. It’s a structural event that requires settlement infrastructure.
If Iraq is going to revalue its currency and move into international trade at a new exchange rate, the old correspondent banking system (SWIFT) is slow, expensive, and has bottleneck gates. The XRPL settles in seconds, not days. It’s already ISO-20022 compliant. It already has institutional rails.
Iraq’s parliament hasn’t submitted their budget yet. They won’t until November 15th. And here’s what people keep missing.

Jeff There’s a scripted rate change date. Iraq has to time all their actions around that date. Because they have to time their actions around the rate change date…the budget is going to be just like the cabinet. When they were ready to do the cabinet after 5 months…they just snapped their fingers, the cabinet was, poof, done. The budget is going to be the same way. When they’re ready to push the budget through, they magically will have an agreement and get the budget moving towards parliament and getting approved. The budget is going to be done at the blink of an eye, with the snap of the fingers.
Mnt Goat As we wind down our October news, we begin to see a resurgence of the issue of the project to remove the zeros…As we may remember there were multiple articles that told us this project would most likely begin in the first quarter of 2027. We also know the Finance Committee is pushing along with the CBI, however the CBI is said to be willing to move on it should there be legislation passed by parliament or not.
Jeff The news is phenomenal...We have seen news like this every so many years working its way to this point and then it’s like a wall gets thrown up. The news is never able to reach this point. Right now we are at the closest point since the US troops have left…They’re now achieving stability and sovereignty…Because of that, with the US troops out now, they’ve progressed farther along in these final steps than we’ve ever witnessed.
