In order to improve equipment and reduce malfunctions, particularly during the upcoming winter, the Electricity Distribution Directorate in Diwaniyah Governorate has begun rehabilitation and maintenance work on its networks to address weaknesses, balance loads, and open new power sources.
Engineer Mahmoud Muhammad, Director of Follow-up in Diwaniyah Governorate, was responsible for repairing and maintaining the electrical network in the center, districts, and sub-districts of Diwaniyah Governorate to prevent electric current malfunctions, especially as the rainy season approaches. He mentioned the intensification of follow-up on electrical projects that are still in the process of being built in order to finish them within the required specifications and time frames. This shows that many of these projects have achieved advanced completion rates. These projects include the electricity network in the Al-Rasoul, Al-Furat, Al-Sadr, and Al-Hussein neighborhoods, as well as the second region in the Imam Al-Sadiq neighborhood and other areas that were having issues with the electric current
