Russian researchers say they’ve made a big step forward in solar energy.

They managed to make perovskite solar panels much more stable in high heat—about three times better than before. This could help create solar panels that last longer and cost less.

The team said they achieved this by adding special organic molecules called triphenylaminepyridine into the material. Because of this, the panels can now run at 80°C for over 700 hours, compared to just 260 hours before.

Experts say this is important because it opens the door to using these panels in tough environments—like deserts, mountains, and even space.

Perovskite panels are already known for being efficient at turning sunlight into energy. They’re also easier and cheaper to produce than traditional silicon panels.

With this improvement, scientists hope perovskite can become the main material for the next generation of solar technology, especially in places with extreme weather conditions.
