The majority of Iraqis hoarded US dollars.The dinar has suffered greatly as a result of widespread dollarization. The demand on dollar liquidity decreases as consumers begin to dump dollars. The demand for dinars is supported. Dinar appreciation could increase as a result. The notion that the public is starting to believe in the dinar’s future worth is supported by this grassroots movement. Wouldn’t you want the Iraqi people to start having faith in the dinar before the eventual revaluation? Because it would make the dinar revaluation that much more smooth and seamless once the dinar has greater worth. They’re already starting to trust the dinar over the US currency.
