If there is someone in your life who thinks you’re irrational for believing in or investing in the Iraqi dinar, I strongly suggest sharing this with them… Iraq is not only poised to revalue their currency, but they may also reinstate it to its pre-invasion value from 2003, and there is a compelling precedent for this. It seems quite clear to me what their intentions are… Kuwait met specific criteria just prior to reinstating their currency… Should Iraq choose to reinstate their previous rate of $3.78 under Saddam, it would be an extraordinary result. I believe we would all be quite pleased with that. There has been some discussion regarding whether they will revalue their currency to a new rate… It could be 50 cents, a dollar, or even $2.00. The truth is, we simply do not know… Kuwait successfully reinstated their dinar to its original value. [Post 1 of 2….stay tuned]
