The US dollar dropped again against the Iraqi dinar on Saturday as markets opened for the first trading session of the week.

In Baghdad, rates at the main exchanges, including Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya, fell to 152,500 dinars per 100 dollars. That’s down from 153,350 dinars at Thursday’s close.

Local exchange shops in the capital also saw lower prices. The selling rate slipped to 153,000 dinars, while the buying price reached 152,000 dinars per 100 dollars.

Erbil followed the same trend. The selling price there was about 152,600 dinars, with the buying price at 152,450 dinars.

Overall, the dollar’s value eased across both cities, showing a noticeable drop compared to the previous session.
