A source revealed on Wednesday that Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity has decided to replace the head of the Diyala Electricity Branch.
According to the source, Engineer Miqdad Al-Jurani has been removed from his position as director of the Diyala Electricity Branch. Engineer Saif Salem Ahmed has been appointed as his replacement.
The source said this is the first major leadership change in Diyala’s electricity department in more than four years. The decision was issued on Wednesday and is expected to take effect immediately once it is officially circulated.
The source also noted that this move is part of a wider series of changes being carried out by the Ministry of Electricity in recent days, as the ministry continues to make adjustments to its management teams.
