The process of deleting the three zeros from the Iraqi dinar means that these old notes will not be completely canceled but will be taken out of everyday use. The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has explained that while the old three-zero notes will stop being used in daily transactions, they will still be useful for large inter-bank trades, mostly using the 25,000 dinar note. This means that these older notes could actually increase in value, making them significant in bigger financial exchanges.
