Iraq’s Minister of Electricity, Ali Saad Wahib, met with Poland’s Ambassador to Iraq, Wojciech Bujak, in Baghdad on Monday to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in the electricity sector.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed opportunities to benefit from the expertise and technical capabilities of Polish companies, particularly in projects related to the development, modernization, and rehabilitation of power generation stations.
The discussions also focused on creating new partnerships and enhancing coordination between Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity and Polish institutions and companies operating in the energy sector.
The meeting reflects ongoing efforts to improve Iraq’s electricity infrastructure by working with international partners and attracting specialized expertise to support the country’s power sector development.
