Despite weekly gains in global oil prices due to concerns about supply disruptions, Basra Heavy and Medium crude oil experienced slight losses over the past week.
On Friday evening, the final session of Basra Heavy crude ended with a closing price of $69.47, or a loss of 93 cents, or 0.14 percent, on the week.
Last week, Basra Medium crude lost 10 cents, or 0.14 percent, reaching $72.62 at the end of the session.
