Iraq’s country Oil advertising organization (SOMO) reportedly introduced on Tuesday that it has concluded all contracts and obligations with consumers of oil produced in the Kurdistan region. The company emphasised that resuming exports from Kurdistan could repair Iraq’s role as a key dealer to the eu market.

SOMO Director general Ali Nizar al-Shatri [Shatari] told the country-owned Iraqi information organization (INA) that modern issues in Kurdistan are matters of operational preparations, noting that Iraqi regulation applies to all events. He explained that the federal Ministry of Oil and the Kurdistan regional authorities’s Ministry of natural sources function under a unmarried framework, with differences most effective inside the relationship among the local authorities and producing groups.
