The UK’s Department for Business and Trade has reported that trade between the UK and Iraq totaled £1.2 billion in the four quarters leading up to the end of Q2 2025. That number is down by 8.9%, or about £112 million, compared to the same period ending in Q2 2024.
Out of the £1.2 billion total:
- UK exports to Iraq reached £938 million.
- UK imports from Iraq were £214 million.
The report also showed that Iraq was the UK’s 90th largest trading partner in the four quarters to the end of Q4 2024, making up just 0.1% of the UK’s overall trade.
