Iraq’s Building Research Directorate has signed a new cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Engineers Union to boost work across the engineering sector.
The deal was signed by Director General Hussein Faraj Al-Hassnawi and Engineers Union President Dhulfiqar Houshi. It focuses on working together in research, training, and sharing knowledge.
The partnership will cover several key areas. This includes joint technical studies, training programs for engineers, and exchanging expertise between both sides. It will also support construction and development projects across the country.
Officials say the goal is simple: strengthen engineering skills and improve the quality of infrastructure work in Iraq.
