An Iraqi lawmaker says parliament is getting ready to push forward with a new wave of important laws.
MP Hassan Al-Kaabi said the focus will be on laws that directly impact people’s lives—especially those related to services and the economy, aimed at improving living conditions and supporting development.
He also highlighted that special attention will be given to laws supporting the families of martyrs and those who made sacrifices, particularly the sons of the Popular Mobilization Forces.
According to him, the goal is to recognize their sacrifices and ensure their rights are protected.
Al-Kaabi added that there is strong coordination between political groups to pass these laws smoothly, without getting stuck in political disagreements.
In short, parliament is expected to be more active in the coming period, with a focus on practical laws that benefit citizens and honor those who served the country.
