Iraqi oil prices moved lower on Thursday, tracking declines in global energy markets.
Basra Heavy crude fell to $62.32 per barrel, down $0.66, or 1.05%, from the previous session. Basra Medium crude also declined by $0.66, or 1.01%, to settle at $64.42 per barrel.
The drop came alongside broader weakness in international oil markets. Brent crude fell to $70.82 per barrel, losing $0.75, or 1.05%, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude dropped $0.79, or 1.15%, to $67.78 per barrel.
The decline reflects ongoing pressure on global oil prices as traders assess market conditions, supply expectations, and economic developments that could affect future demand for crude.
