U.S. Bitcoin ETFs saw strong demand at the start of August, attracting about $853.5 million in total investments over five straight trading sessions. The new inflows helped recover from the withdrawals seen during the previous week.

From August 3 to August 7, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded positive inflows every day. The funds received $170.1 million on August 3, followed by $211.5 million on August 4. The strongest day came on August 5, when investors added $244.4 million.

The buying continued with $128.8 million in inflows on August 6 and another $98.85 million on August 7. Together, the five sessions brought in around $853.5 million.

This marked a major turnaround after the previous week, when Bitcoin ETFs faced about $61.5 million in net withdrawals. The new August inflows are already far higher than July’s total, which stood at around $172.4 million.

BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, led the demand, bringing in around $693 million during the five-day period. That accounted for most of the total inflows. Fidelity’s FBTC followed with about $40.95 million, while smaller amounts went into other Bitcoin ETF products.

By the end of August 7, total assets held by U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reached about $79.5 billion. Since their launch, these funds have attracted more than $52 billion in total net inflows.

Ethereum ETFs also had a positive week, gaining around $244.9 million between August 3 and August 7. BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF received the largest share of the demand.

Combined, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs attracted nearly $1.1 billion during the week, showing strong investor interest in major cryptocurrencies.

Other crypto ETF categories, including XRP and Solana products, saw much smaller movements, with limited buying activity compared to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Despite the strong ETF demand, Bitcoin remained below the $65,000 level. Investors continue to watch whether the renewed ETF interest can help push the price toward a stronger recovery.
