The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar remained stable in بغداد markets on Tuesday morning, while prices recorded a slight increase in أربيل as trading began ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday.
In Baghdad, the central Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges kept the same rates seen on Monday evening, with the dollar trading at 153,300 Iraqi dinars for every 100 US dollars.
Local exchange shops in the capital also maintained stable prices. The selling price stood at 153,750 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price reached 152,750 dinars.
In Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, currency exchange markets witnessed a slight rise in dollar prices. The selling price reached 152,950 Iraqi dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price was recorded at 152,850 dinars.
