The United Nations Development Programme has awarded several new contracts in Iraq covering environmental projects, maintenance services, and training programs.
Al-Chibaish Organization for Environment Tourism secured a contract to build what was described as the “Social and Human Foundations for Ecosystem-Based Adaptation in Marshland Communities of the Central Marshes.”
The project carries reference number UNDP-IRQ-02027, with a reported contract value of about $95,381.83, equivalent to 124.95 million Iraqi dinars.
Meanwhile, Emaar Ardh Al Nakheel for Contracting and General Trading Ltd won a contract for providing gym equipment maintenance services and spare parts for the UN compound in Baghdad.
The contract was listed under reference number UNDP-IRQ-10066, although the financial value of the agreement was not disclosed.
In another award, University House for Consulation and Studies received a contract to deliver a capacity-building program for government employees and operators in Ninewa and Anbar governorates.
The contract, listed under reference RFQ/2026/61565, has a reported value of $80,334.
