Economist Iraq is capable of exporting 1.5 million barrels of oil per day via Turkiye

monetary professional Safwan Qusay confirmed that Iraq is able to exporting 1.5 million barrels of oil per day from the Kirkuk and Kurdistan vicinity fields to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, permitting it to enter european markets in larger portions.

Qusay informed dinaropinions.com, “Türkiye is expressing a preference to reformulate the oil settlement with Iraq to growth exports thru the Ceyhan port to two.2 million barrels according to day.”

He explained that “the design capacity of the Iraqi pipeline coming into Turkish territory is 1.5 million barrels in step with day, and it can be fed from Kirkuk and regional fields.”

He defined that “agreeing in this amount will provide Iraq the possibility to accumulate a part of the marketplace percentage in the european Union,” noting that “Iraq aims to raise its oil exports to 6 million barrels according to day, at a time whilst its current manufacturing stands at about 4.7 million barrels according to day.”
