The Iraqi government has added a number of new electronic forms to the Ur government services portal as part of its ongoing push to expand digital public services.
According to the Iraqi Cabinet, the newly added forms cover services across several government departments and offices.
The new services include:
- A survey related to services provided by Iraqi consulates through the Department of Ceremonies.
- An assessment form connected to Iraq’s competitiveness report on global indicators, managed by the Office of the Deputy Secretary-General.
- Requests to correct decisions, obtain copies of documents or decisions, and submit grievances linked to political dismissal cases through the Department of Political Dismissees’ Affairs.
- Requests for transferring political dismissal files and applications for exemptions from chronological sequencing requirements.
The Cabinet also confirmed that electronic payment options have now been integrated into some of these services to make procedures faster and easier for citizens.
Officials said the move is part of Iraq’s wider e-government project, which aims to modernize administrative systems, improve digital services, and reduce reliance on traditional paperwork and in-person procedures.
