Gold prices in local markets were mixed on Saturday as the global price of an ounce reached $3,996.
The price of one mithqal (about 4.5 grams) of 21-karat gold was around 955,000 Iraqi dinars. Meanwhile, 18-karat gold was priced at about 820,000 dinars, 22-karat gold at 1 million dinars, and 24-karat gold at 1.091 million dinars.
In local markets, gold prices were reported at 168,800 dinars in the Kurdistan Region and 159,000 dinars in Baghdad per mithqal.
