Iraq’s Prime Minister Ali al-Zaidi has met with Libya’s Government of National Unity envoy Al-Taher Salem Al-Baour and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Al-Baour delivered a message from Libyan Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Mohammed al-Dabaiba, highlighting the importance of strengthening relations between Iraq and Libya.
The message also called for holding the third meeting of the Iraqi-Libyan Joint Committee to improve cooperation between the two countries. It included an invitation for Prime Minister al-Zaidi to visit Libya in the near future and encouraged continued coordination on regional and international issues affecting Arab countries.
Al-Zaidi said Iraq is focused on developing strong relations with other nations and emphasized the government’s interest in expanding economic cooperation, partnerships, and shared opportunities with Libya.
