Mercedes-Benz Iraq has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry aimed at strengthening cooperation between the private sector and expanding business opportunities in the Kurdistan Region.
The signing ceremony was attended by Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw, along with a number of government officials, business leaders, and representatives of the commercial sector.
The agreement was signed by Mercedes-Benz Iraq CEO Bernhard Dolinek and Erbil Chamber of Commerce President Gailan Haji Saeed. Both sides expressed their commitment to enhancing economic cooperation, supporting local business development, and exploring new opportunities for investment and trade.
The partnership is expected to contribute to stronger ties between international companies and the local business community, while encouraging initiatives that support economic growth and private-sector development in the region.
Officials attending the ceremony highlighted the importance of collaboration between major global brands and local institutions in creating new opportunities for businesses and promoting sustainable economic activity.
