NFT sales fall 35.37% to $42.13m as Ethereum retakes the lead

NFT sales dropped 35.37% to $42.13 million over the past seven days, even as the number of buyers, sellers and transactions increased. Ethereum returned to the top position among blockchains by NFT sales, overtaking Bitcoin, while Polygon also recorded stronger activity.

According to data from CryptoSlam, the total number of NFT transactions increased 30.54% to 935,198 during the week. Buyer addresses climbed 44.10% to 216,012, while seller addresses increased 46.59% to 192,788.

This marks a reversal from the previous weekly period, when Bitcoin had moved ahead of Ethereum in NFT sales.
