The Democrat comments on the court’s decision to allocate 5 seats to the regional quota

On Saturday, the delegate of the Kurdistan Leftist faction parliamentary coalition, Mahma Khalil, considered the choice of the Preeminent Legal Board to give the parts of the Kurdistan locale 5 seats in the district’s decisions as a split the difference.

Khalil told, “The choice of the Preeminent Legal Committee to concede the parts of the district 5 seats out of 100 seats is a split the difference as per what was instituted by the Government Constitution, regarding the portrayal of all parts of the Iraqi public.”

He added, “The choice is restricting, and we in the Progressive faction regard all choices gave by the legal power.”

The Preeminent Legal Board gave a choice to dispense 5 seats for Christians and Turkmen in the local parliament, dispersed as two seats in Erbil, two seats in Sulaymaniyah, and one seat in Dohuk.
