USD IQD exchange rates climb in Baghdad and Erbil

The US dollar opened higher in Iraq on Tuesday, rising in early trading across key markets.

In Baghdad, rates at the main exchanges, including Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya, reached 154,100 dinars per 100 dollars. That’s up from 153,100 dinars in the previous session.

Local exchange shops in the capital also saw higher prices. The selling rate climbed to 154,500 dinars, while the buying price stood at 153,500 dinars.

In Erbil, the trend was similar. The dollar was sold at around 154,050 dinars and bought at 153,950 dinars per 100 dollars.

Overall, the dollar showed a clear uptick, reflecting stronger demand in the market at the start of trading.
